JUST FOR GIRLS: Space Explorers Camp

This camp is a great opportunity for girls to explore all things “Space Science” related and meet other girls who might have similar interests in the process! Women are still incredibly under-represented in the hard sciences, and this is a fun and safe space to encourage interest in Space Science with other girls. Our campers will go in depth and learn about our solar system with a hands on approach. They'll learn about the planets, the phases of the moon and what life is like in space.

Girls participate in a variety of fun and engaging hands-on projects like designing their own air rocket, making clay shuttles, and designing a spacesuit.  They'll spend the week making new friends who love space science too, doing individual, partner and group projects throughout the week.
