Edible Herbs, Grasses Cattails and Tule Painting

Spend a day at the Lyceum learning techniques to create fresh, dynamic colorful botanical drawings with renowned botanical artist Claudia Stevens.

A multi-step method is provided for students to lay the groundwork for successful drawing and painting of botanicals.  Bringing art to science: observation, attention to detail and plant structure, measurement accuracy, are made fun while integrating fine art skills into your work.  A small class size ensures the opportunity for personal assistance and fun additions for the your tool box.  Claudia's lectures are simple, straightforward and manageable and include demonstrations, giving you all the tools you need to create striking botanical subjects and new tips for your repertoire.  There will be tea and an art reflection at the end of the session.
