Examples of previous year's workshops:

  • Don't Break the Law! - Material Engineers, Meghan Baronowski and Danielle Ramos, showed an example of a fluid that defies Isaac Newton's law of viscosity. Participants will get to play with some ooey, gooey, glop...or is it?!

  • Will Pooh Go "SPLAT"? - Mechanical Engineer, Elsa Hennings and Aerospace Engineer, Alyse Dannenberg, led a workshop involving designing a harness for a large stuffed animal, attaching it to a parachute, and making predictions where it will land, then testing those predictions.

*PLEASE NOTE: EYH Workshops are 75 minutes in length. the Workshop Presenter Booklet has some examples that are differing lengths. Please design your workshop to be 75 minutes using the general guidelines outlined in the Booklet.

EYH Workshops are best when they are run or heavily supported by female instructors. Will all or most of your workshop presenters be female? *
EYH is a STEM Conference and Career Fair for girls. Our goal is for these female participants to meet and interact with women who are successful and inspired by STEM education and careers. Because of this, we ask that all or a majority of the instructors of workshops be female.
Please count the number of characters in your title. It must be less than 32 characters to show up correctly in our registration system. For instance, LYCEUM is 6 characters.
This is how we will advertise your workshop to participants.
This is for internal purposes only and will not be used for advertising.
