2024 Expanding Your Horizons STEM Conference & CareeR Fair for girls

411 Central Ave. Salinas, CA 93901
Parking: You can park in either Parking Structure 1 OR Parking Lot 2. Lot 2 is a little closer to Building C if you are carrying a lot of things. Parking is not enforced on Saturday, so you do not need to pay for parking.

Workshop Presenters:

Check-in at 9:00am in the Faculty Lounge in Building C.

You will receive your roster, classroom, map, and any materials we are providing for you. Staff is on-site at 7:30am. You are welcome to come earlier if more set-up time is needed.

Note: Your first workshop will begin at approximately 10am. Please note, that the students leave from the opening session is groups and it takes us about 10 minutes to get from the first to last group, so your students may come a little late. If that happens you can end late, as they will have plenty of time at the career fair.
Your second workshop is at ~1:00pm for a new group of students.

Career Fair Presenters:

Check-in starts at 10:15am in the Student Center in Building C.

Staff will be available to help you with your table, and any electricity needs you have. The girls will start walking around the career fair after they grab lunch at 11:15am. Table break down and clean up is at 1:00pm.

Presenters doing both a Workshop & the Career Fair:

If you are offering both a Workshop and staffing a Career Fair table, check-in with the workshop presenters at 9:00am.
When you’re workshop ends, and students are chaperoned to the student center, you can head to the Career Fair to set up. You’ll want to leave the career fair early to prepare for your 1:00pm workshop.

Lunch:

Lunch will be in the student center for pickup at 11:15am. Please allow student participants, and workshop presenters to get their lunch first if you are only there for the Career Fair.
