Hidden careers using foreign languages

The Lyceum of Monterey County’s Hidden Career Programs have exposed students to careers in medicine, emergency medicine, hospitality, and agricultural technology.

This spring, we turn our attention to Careers in Foreign Languages.  We will be hosted by Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

Our panel of experts from MIIS and Defense Language Institute will discuss and demonstrate:

·         Translation and Interpretation
·         Language and Diplomacy
·         Intelligence and National Security
·         Nonproliferation Studies
·         International Trade

There will be a networking opportunity and light refreshments at the end of the discussion.
