LYCEUM IS GROWING
New full-time employee and employee promotion
Monterey, CA – Megan Havens is the new full-time Director of School Contract Programs for The Lyceum of Monterey County. Megan previously worked as a Waldorf Teacher at Monterey Bay Charter School in Pacific Grove and is a current Board Member for Arts Habitat. She will concentrate on growing school contract programs, hiring and training new instructors, and coordinating Lyceum SAMI (Science, Art, and Music Intensive) Programs with school principals and districts on the peninsula, in Salinas, and in Salinas Valley. Lois Marr has been promoted from Senior Program Coordinator to Director of Public Mentor Programs. Ms. Marr celebrated her one-year anniversary last week with The Lyceum of Monterey County. She will concentrate on coordinating our public mentor programs including our Lyceum MAE (Museum Art Enrichment) Programs and is currently seeking volunteer and paid instructors to teach in September – December 2007 in Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Carmel Valley, and Salinas. Juliette Calandra Ferguson’s role as Executive Director will continue to oversee programs and fundraising and she will now have more time for community relations and human resources management. Ms. Ferguson is also Scholarship Chair for Jr. League of Monterey County next year and the current Newsletter Chair for DEN, Development Executives Network.
